L'Armoire du Haut

About Me – Dominique Dupuis

In Quebec, we say l’armoire du haut, which translated into English is the top shelf -- the place in your cupboard where you put things you don’t know what to do with.  Like the bowl you got as a housewarming gift – things like that. In this case our top shelf is the food you buy and then don’t know how to cook. Like tofu. Lentils. And quinoa. How do you say that anyways?

About Me – Dominique Dupuis
I am passionate about nutrition and delighted to share with you healthy food that is easy and fun to cook. I have a technical degree in dietetics, am very involved in raw food, have taught at the Center Jean-Claude-Malépart and Montreal's Crudessence cooking school. I have given workshops on topics as varied as How to Have a Healthy Pantry and Eating Healthy on a Budget, to Raw Food Basics and Vegetarian Asian Cuisine.
I am happy to teach you new techniques and know there is always room to learn from each other. I look forward to helping you cook towards better health. Now you can integrate these new foods in your diet and free up your top shelf. I'll even show you how to use that bowl!
                         Let’s get started     Dom

My studio kitchen is located in the heart of Montreal’s Plateau district. In this relaxed and friendly atmosphere you will learn to cook foods I suggest or you can try your own new recipes. You will eat what you cook, or take it home if you prefer. Classes are offered in both French and English, or a combination of the two! Classes of 4 to 6 people can be designed for private groups and corporate retreats.
In each two hour workshop you will experience two new foods:
-learn all about the food and its health benefits
-discover where to buy it
-and best of all -- learn how to prepare and eat it.
Come cook with me for as little as $ 40 per person.
Better still – gather a group of 6 people (including yourself) and your registration is free!

I look forward to welcoming you to:
